How to create your wallet ?

For the purposes of this section, we will show you how to create a Nami wallet.
Any other Cardano Shelley wallet mentioned in the previous section works just as well.

Step-by-step guide

1. Go to https://namiwallet.io/.

2. Install the plugin which will act as your wallet.

3. Open up the plugin in the top-right corner.

4. Click on New wallet.

5. Grab a piece of paper or open a password manager app to save your seed phrase.
   Seed phrase is the key to your wallet - if you lose it, your wallet cannot be recovered.

6. Click Next, and re-type your seed phrase again.

7. Give the wallet a name and a password. The ame is irrelevant, but the password must be remembered since it will be used for transaction confirmation.

8. The wallet is now ready to use. To top it up with ADA please take a look at the How to get ADA ? section.
